5. Don't Try To Control The Situation

spoke with joel today.

that was interesting.

i genuinely would like a friendship with him, its not like he was my best friend...

and he dangles it in front of me like he would like it too.

but then he will say stuff like, "my girlfriend doesn't like you,"

or, "i'd like to hang out but we did have a rough end to a two year relationship."



what the hell?



whatever, brush it off bree, brush it off.

he is a low life going to idaho to smoke weed and waste time.

while i'm thinking about the past and feeling nauseous..

lets make a list of every lesson i learned in 2009.

in no particular order:



1. if he cheated once, he'll do it again.

2. god loves me more than any man ever will.

3. best friends are a dime a dozen.

4. don't date dumb marines (hey it's still 2009 and i'm hoping he'll stop being dumb before thursday)

5. don't try to control the situation. -stanford

7. you can't save everyone. (i'm working on that one still)

8. leave enough space in between you and the car in front of you.

9. she has been using you for four years.

10. don't ever let a man take something away from you, be it prom or your dignity.

11. we all have our cancer, its what we do with it that counts. -greenberg

12. you cant please everyone.

13. crystal's escapism could be really beneficial.

14. getting out of 29 palms is great therapy.

15. just because these girls are in college with you doesn't make them mature.

16. sometimes you have to lie in an essay to please a professor.

17. math blows, but i always knew that.

18. don't burn bridges.

19. delete them, all of them, you're not a late night bootycall.

20. boys are better friends for the most part.

21. don't take things for granted. -i'm glad i don't have cancer. i know it wasn't a deadly cancer but still...
